Good company: AZADEH Couture collaborations (Photos)

AZADEH Couture has a lot going on, from collaboration to expansion and all the red carpet in between. The AZADEH Spring 2013 Collection, which debuted earlier this year was a partnership with haute couture website ModeWalk. Together they hosted an invitation only exclusive to showcase the line of elegant, ready-to-wear pieces. Alycia Mondavi made a special appearance helping to celebrate the event with a donation of wine from Charles Krug. San Francisco’s fashion risk takers and scene makers the likes of Joy Bianchi, Sonya Molodetskaya and Jessica Hon showed up to check everything out.

Philanthropist Elisabeth Thieriot also came out to show her support. More recently, Thieriot attended the Grammy Awards wearing a white AZADEH tuxedo. Fellow San Francisco favorite Jennifer Siebel Newsom also hit the Hollywood red carpet attending the Oscars for the nomination of her film Invisible War. The expectant Newsom decided on her Karen Caldwell Designs by AZADEH dress with the designer who accompanied her to LA with multiple options. Dashing Lt. Governor, husband, Gavin Newsom at her side and baby bump in hand she flowed down the red carpet in a red gown.

Finally back in San Francisco after a sourcing trip to Paris, Azadeh Riaz along with Karen Caldwell each in their own design attended the much anticipated, invitation only Mid-Winter Gala on Saturday. I was especially excited to show them the final reveal of a Karen Caldwell Designs by AZADEH gown I had selected for the occasion. Claudia Ross also looked stunning that night in one of my favorite gowns from the Spring preview, an asymmetrical white number with back cut out. From Vanessa Williams appearing on The View wearing AZADEH, to the upcoming Beverly Hills trunk show it is no surprise there is talk of a new LA AZADEH store.
