The Masters Tournament is little more than a month away and Golf to End Cancer, a non-profit organization promoting cancer-prevention awareness and aid, announced Monday that it is raffling off an all-expenses paid trip to Augusta National for two.
Raffle tickets are $20 each (three for $50, 10 for $150) and the $8,500 grand prize includes transportation, accommodations for four days and three nights in a condominium or townhouse two miles from Bobby Jones’ iconic venue, and two Masters badges for both the Thursday (April 11) and Friday (April 12) rounds.
“For golf fans, there’s no more desirable ticket, and no tougher ticket to get, than one to Augusta,” G2EC executive director Ed Woronicz said in a statement. “We feel this is a terrific opportunity not only to raise funds for a worthy cause, but also to help bring attention to Golf to End Cancer and the tremendous potential that golf has to spread the word about healthy lifestyle choices.”
