The following is a list of the prize money up for grabs for women golfers on the LPGA Tour at the 2014 Portland Classic, which is taking place from August 28-31, 2014, at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club right above the Columbia River in Portland, Oregon.
The Portland Classic has been played annually since 1972 (except in 2001 when it was canceled because of world events). Counting the years (1977-1982) when it was a team event, the player with the most wins in the Portland Classic is Kathy Whitworth with five (1972, 1973, 1978, 1980, 1981).
Other LPGA greats to win the Portland Classic include Nancy Lopez and Donna Caponi with four wins each, JoAnne Carner with three wins, Annika Sorenstam with two wins, and Amy Alcott, Betsy King, Patty Sheehan, Dottie Pepper, Juli Inkster, and Lorena Ochoa with one win each.
Current LPGA greats who have won the Portland Classic include Suzann Pettersen with two wins (2011, 2013) and Cristie Kerr (2008) with one win. Suzann Pettersen will trying for her third win here this year.
Other LPGA stars playing the Portland Classic in 2014 include So Yeon Ryu, who just won the Canadian Women's Open last week, Beatriz Recari, Belen Mozo, Mo Martin, and Sandra Gal. Young golfers trying to make a name for themselves at the 2014 Portland Classic include Charley Hull.

The total prize money up for grabs at the 2014 Portland Classic is $1.3 million. The same prize money amount as last year.
