The following is a list of the prize money up for grabs for PGA players at the 2014 Greenbrier Classic, which is taking place from Thursday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 6th, 2014, on The Old White TPC course at the Greenbrier resort in White Sulpher Springs, West Virginia.

The Greenbrier is one of those opulent luxury resorts the railroads operated for many years as a destination place for wealthy travelers to lure them into taking train rides. Twenty-six presidents of the United States have stayed at the Greenbrier over the years.

Despite the age of the Greenbrier resort, it was originally built in 1858, the Greenbrier Classic on the PGA Tour is a golf tournament that will only be five years old in 2014. The four previous winners of the Greenbrier Classic are Stuart Appleby (2010), Scott Stallings (2011), Ted Potter, Jr. (2012), and Jonas Blixt (2013).

When Stuart Appleby won the inaugural Greenbrier Classic in 2010, he shot a closing round of 59. The Old White TPC course at Greenbrier is not one of the most challenging golf courses on the PGA Tour, as the average winner has shot better than 15 under to win the tournament.

Tiger Woods played last week at the Quicken Loans National at Congressional, a tournament that Tiger Woods hosts, for the first time since he had back surgery in late March. Tiger Woods did not make the cut at Congressional, but it was good to see him play golf again. Tiger Woods is not playing the Greenbrier Classic this week, but Tiger will almost certainly be playing in the British Open in a few weeks.

The total prize money up for grabs for PGA players at the 2014 Greenbrier Classic is $6.5 million. That is up 3.2% from the $6.3 million prize money fund from 2013 at the Greenbrier Classic.
