Golf-O-Max owner Dru Lafave has decided to keep the New Year’s party going by serving up specials for indoor players of all ages to capitalize on during the month of January.
First off the tee is a Sunday evening price break that features four golfers getting their swings in for the price of three or two players. All the foursome need do is post promo code J432 when booking the screen-time online at www.golfomax.com.
Second up is a deal for younger golfers. The Kids After School Golf offer goes into effect on Mondays and Tuesdays between 4 pm. and 7 p.m. Boys and girls up to 18 years of age can shoot nine holes for $10, 18 holes for $15, or practice at $5 per half hour.
And if a junior wants to take their game to a higher level, coaching is available from PGA of Canada members on Mondays at $10 per half hour.
Lafave has also decided to utilize impromptu fashion shows to keep the mood light at Golf-O-Max as the capital deals with the wacky weather that has smacked the area in early 2014.
So, to make sure there are always plenty of grins gracing the Golf-O-Max location at 1050 Baxter Rd. (behind the Ottawa Citizen building), golfers who tee off in their shorts are eligible for $5 off their 18-hole green fees.
Meanwhile, the popular monthly draws are still in play.
The prizes include two Ottawa Senators tickets in the 100 level and a Mill Street $50 gift card.
Players enter by filling out a ballot each time they come in for a round, and when they order a pint of Mill Street they receive a second ballot.
Leagues are one more reason why Golf-O-Max, with its 11 state-of-the-art Full Swing Golf simulators, reigns as Ottawa’s premier indoor facility.
Executive Golf, the virtual golf club, runs several leagues for men and women of all ages and new league organizers are invited to contact Lafave and his staff to schedule times and organize the events.
