Former multi-time champion Goldust continues to publicly lobby for the WWE to make a match between his real life brother Cody Rhodes and himself for WrestleMania 28. Goldust wants a "Miami Street Fight" with the stipulation of his career vs. Cody's intercontinental title. On Sunday December 11th, Goldust made the following comments via his Twitter page:
"Theres a buzz goin round.....goldust vs cody wm28, miami street fight, my career his ic title. All in favor...@WWE give me my match."
In recent reports, the WWE is apparently interested in a possible match between the two. However, the encounter wouldn't be at WrestleMania 28 on Sunday April 1st but at a PPV beforehand according to these reports.
Goldust's lobbying has created a small buzz that the WWE has taken notice of. There is potential success with a feud between the brothers, especially if their father Dusty Rhodes gets involved. However, the WWE could just ignore this altogether and not even use Goldust at all.
