In the age of celebrity marriages that last anywhere from decades, to days, one long time celebrity couple claims that the secret behind their three-decade relationship success is to stay unmarried. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been living blissfully together and unmarried for 30-years, and couldn't be happier according to the Radar Online reports on Tuesday, Feb.19.
Goldie Hawn, 67, and Kurt Russell's, 61, relationship secrets were recently revealed by Hawn in Australasia's Woman's Day. Hawn, who has two well known children Kate Hudson, and Oliver Hudson from her former marriage to Bill Hudson also shares a son, Wyatt with the former Disney star and movie actor Kurt Russell and stated,
“[We] have done just perfectly without marrying.
“I already feel devoted and isn’t that what marriage is supposed to do? So as long as my emotional state is in a state of devotion, honesty, caring and loving, then we’re fine,” Goldie said. “We both have independent finances, we’re both independently well-off.”
In 2011, Bill Hudson released a tell-all back in 2011, titled 2 Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family, which detailed his marriage to Goldie Hawn and his bitter relationship with his two children by her.
Goldie Hawn's most recent film work was in the 2002 hit " The Banger Sisters" opposite Susan Sarandon and Geoffrey Rush. Kurt Russell Russell appeared as villain Stuntman Mike in Quentin Tarantino's segment "Death Proof" of the film "Grindhouse." After a remake of "Escape from New York" was announced, Russell was reportedly upset with the casting of Scottish actor Gerard Butler for his signature character, Snake Plissken.
In February 2003, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, so that their son could play hockey and remain living together happily-ever-after.
