Goldfaden MD Celebrate The I AM THAT GIRL Organization at Space,NK NYC

This past November, glamorous attendees settled into Space NK’s lavish Soho beauty boutique for a philanthropic shopping event hosted by Goldfaden MD in honor of the I AM THAT GIRL (IATG) organization. A brand prided on naturally guiding the skin to its greatest potential, Goldfaden MD’s inspirational philosophy on beauty fittingly aligned with that of the organization. While some say the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, the true meaning of universal beauty and its inspirational qualities was certainly emphasized throughout the evening.

During the evening, Lauren Wolk and Lisa Goldfaden, the brand’s glamorous duo was on hand to talk to guests about the exciting partnership with the IATG organization and their innovative skincare range. Those unfamiliar with the products were walked through the skincare line’s superstar ingredients, like Hydrolyzed Wheat Proteins and Hyaluronic Acid and their beneficial properties. Guests were welcomed to visit the multiple mini spa stations set throughout the shop and familiarize themselves with luxurious GF products. Their famed and highly coveted Doctor’s Scrub was a fast favorite among many attendees including IATG’s co-founder, Emily Greener. Featuring extraordinary ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Seaweed and Organic Tea Extracts blended with perfectly circular ruby crystals, it’s no surprise that this skin polishing, youth restoring scrub was a hit among many.

Upon gushing about the wondrous qualities of the scrub, Emily took a break from the indulgent night to speak about the brilliant organization. Her lively spirit and warm words on how beauty is truly universal and free of specifics brought each guest closer to the cause and one another. Five years ago, IATG, a L.A. based nonprofit organization began a movement that celebrated beauty across various communities and shows no signs of slowing down. Self-esteem and self-doubt issues plague women from the tender age of eight and only progress with age. The organization’s goal is to evolve these detrimental doubtful feelings into positive feelings of self image and worth. While an idea of beauty is defined by mass media, IATG built a community that consists of real women celebrating universal, positive beauty. Partnering with Goldfaden brought the organization to the next level. Merging their social efforts with Goldfaden’s outstanding vision in skincare, the organization and its positive message has opened its doors to broader arenas.

A partnership that helps one better their skin and soul, this event truly encapsulated the togetherness one requires during the holiday season. Guests of the event shopped guilt-free throughout the evening as ten percent of all sales were donated to the organization.
