Goldendoodle invites Bo Obama to be her beau

There has been no answer from the White House concerning an invitation by goldendoodle Ramona to have Bo Obama be her date for the 2013 Doggie Dash in Portland, OR on May 11th.

In addition to asking him out, lovesick Ramona has even gone as far as proposing canine marriage to the presidential pooch via a video produced by the Oregon Humane Society, which shows her trying to invite her favorite Portuguese water dog through Twitter and Facebook, without success. Next, she even tries calling the White House, but is told the pooch doesn't have a cellphone.

Finally, she settles for sending her heartthrob a “smoochie” letter full of hearts and poor penmanship. "Dear Bo," the note reads, "Will u goz to Doggie Dash wit me?"

While it seems highly unlikely that Bo’s “parents” will allow him to accept, one never knows. After all, there have been several stories lately of “regular” people asking celebs out on dates and meeting with success, including two Marines who were able to attend Corp. balls with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis after asking them out on YouTube. Meanwhile, 17-year old Jake Davidson made the talk show rounds after inviting model Kate Upton to his prom via video, and getting a “maybe.”
