Golden State's 2011 first-round pick, Klay Thompson, is now under contract and able to join his teammates for practice.
Thompson, the 11th overall pick back in the June draft, had been unable to sign his rookie deal due to the Warriors' money being tied up in an attempt to sign Los Angeles Clippers restricted free-agent center DeAndre Jordan.
With the Clippers opting to match the Warriors' offer for Jordan, Golden State was finally able to hammer out a deal for the former Washington State Cougars standout.
Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times has the skinny on the particulars of Thompson's rookie contract:
Also coming to terms on a rookie deal was second-round pick Jeremy Tyler. Drafted 39th overall by the Charlotte Bobcats and traded to Golden State on draft day for cash considerations.
The 6-foot-11 big man, who skipped a year of high school and college to play professionally overseas, signed a three-year pact with the Warriors worth approximately $2 million.
Golden State's other 2011 second-round pick, Charles Jenkins, signed his rookie deal with the team last week.
