Golden State has 18 players on their preseason roster and 14 of them are guaranteed contracts meaning the four training camp invitees are gunning for a single roster spot.
The roster hopefuls get their first chance to showcase their skills against another NBA team when the Warriors play the Lakers in the first exhibition of the 2013-2014 campaign on Saturday night in Ontario roughly 35 miles east of Los Angeles.
Head coach Mark Jackson told the media on Friday that many of his veteran players like Andrew Bogut, Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, David Lee, and Jermaine O'Neal wouldn't be playing more than 24 minutes apiece if that much.
This of course means the bench contributors and camp invites will see a plethora of floor time which is good.
Expect all four to be going hard as each makes his case for the roster.
