The awards season is upon us with the 71st Annual Golden Globes kicking it off tonight.

The show which combines awards for both TV and film will once again be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The pair had a successful run hosting last year’s ceremony and are promising more craziness for this year in this NBC promo clip. Poehler is nominated in the Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy category for “Parks and Recreation.”

Nominees for this year’s Best TV Series Drama include “Breaking Bad” which ended its series run this past year, “Downton Abbey,” “The Good Wife,” “House of Cards” and freshman series “Masters of Sex.” Notably missing from this year’s list of nominees is last year’s winner Showtime’s, “Homeland.”

Nominees for Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy are, “The Big Bang Theory,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Girls,” which took home the award last year, “Modern Family” and Poehler’s show “Parks and Recreation.”

Often called the precursor to the Oscars the film nominees include “American Hustle,” “Her,” “12 Years a Slave” and “Gravity.” A full list of the nominees can be found here.

The Globes air on NBC with red carpet coverage beginning at 4 p.m. and the award ceremony airing live at 5 p.m. PST.
