Golden Globes Awards: More diversity in the winner's circle

Every year the Golden Globes is an epic event. Any star you can think of makes an appearance on the red carpet in hopes of getting recognition for his/her work. There is a multitude of diversity in today's entertainment industry with actors and actresses from all backgrounds and nationalities in many leading and supporting roles. This year, Don Cheadle received best actor for comedy or musical series for his role on "House of Lies" featured on Showtime.

Today's television programming displays a more diverse and cultural feel identifying with various backgrounds of individuals. I imagine next year there will be a great turnout for many minority leading men and women who deserve the honor of winning a Golden Globe.
