Adele stepped out at Sunday's Golden Globes for the first time since giving birth, so it's no surprise fans were hanging on every word of her acceptance speech -- and she did not disappoint. Among those fans, who watched as Adele accepted her first ever Golden Globe (for her "Skyfall" performance), was "Jersey Shore" star Snooki. "OMG Adele's speech at the Golden Globes! #LOVEHER," Snooki gushed on Twitter Sunday.
During her enthusiastic speech in which she shouted, "Oh my God, oh my God, oh, oh my God!" Adele admitted she took the opportunity to attend the Golden Globes as an excuse for a night out. "Honestly, I've come out for a night out with my friend Ida. We're new mums …We've been pissing ourselves laughing," the Guardian quotes Adele as saying. For that very reason, Adele's speech likely struck a chord with Snooki who is mom to four month old Lorenzo.
Although he was not his mom's date, Adele's son accompanied her to Los Angeles this weekend for the Golden Globes. The new mom was caught cuddling her so-called "lovely son," who was covered by a blanket, as she arrived at LAX. (Check out the adorable video above.)
It's still unknown if Adele will perform at Academy Awards next month. It's been widely rumored the British-born singer will hit the stage to perform the Bond song for "Skyfall" which is favorite for Best Song.
The Academy Awards are February 26.
