We've given you quite an extensive Golden Globes 2013 recap this evening; several hours have been spent typing up red carpet run-downs and updating the winner's list, not to mention trying to decipher Jodie Foster's acceptance speech and pick our five favorite looks for our best dressed list.
Now, there is one final task: we must present you our Golden Globes 2013 Worst Dressed list so we can go to bed. And we really want to go to bed.
Fortunately and unfortunately, this shouldn't take long. Fortunate for our tired hands and aching backs, but unfortunate for one particular Golden globe-winning actress as she is the sole celebrity on our list this year. That's right, of the whole evening, only one dress offended us enough to stand out. Lena Dunham, we're very sorry, but you make up our entire Golden Globes 2013 Worst Dressed list this year.
The Zac Posen design wanted to work. It tried hard, but in our humble opinion, it didn't have a chance. The burgundy (it came across a very drab brown to many viewers at home) gown had structure from the bodice down into the skirt, which is completely on-trend this awards season. However, on Dunham, the fabric's construction made the whole dress look heavy and stiff and a size too big. The off-the-shoulder neckline was a nice thought, but ended up coming across as very boxy. In short, the only redeeming quality about the Golden Globes dress Lena Dunham wore was that Lena Dunham was inside of it.

Luckily, we don't think our fashion critique is going to be enough to ruin Ms. Dunham's night. The funny female found herself on the receiving end of more than one Golden Globe Award for her work as both creative force and talent on the hit HBO series "Girls". Enjoy your win, but please reprimand your stylist for us!
Though we actually liked most dresses we saw tonight, we feel sort of bad singling Lena out; for that reason, honorable mention for most awful ensemble definitely goes to Alyssa Milano. We're not sure who designed her mustard yellow, belted potato sack, but we think it was Port 1961. Frankly, we thought for a moment Milano was going to be announcing her pregnancy at the Globes, but soon came to realize the dress was just terribly draped. Sorry, girl; not as bad as Lena's, but not our favorite by a mile.
