According to U.S. Weekly, there really aren't any Golden Globes 2013 red carpet trends. The celebrity magazine reported on Jan. 11 that some of the biggest actresses still don't know what to wear. Jessica Chastain and Amanda Seyfried are scrambling to find a gown for tonight's big event.
Stylist Vincent Boucher gave his thoughts about tonight's awards show. He feels that there is a lot of "confusion" about what will trend on the red carpet. He's heard rumors that actresses have been having trouble making a final decision on which dress to wear.
Another celebrity stylist is certain about what she'll see on the red carpet. Reese Witherspoon's stylist, Leslie Fremar predicts that there will be a lot of actresses in white and black gowns. She also predicts that some will take a fashion risk in a graphic print ball gown.
Stylist Annie Ladino and TV personality Robert Verdi both agree that there will be lots of ruffles. Verdi says, "I think the trends that we'll see…are ruffles, ruffles, ruffles, sheer overlays, and an occasional nod to the Far East seen in a delicate origami fold of the fabric or magnificent embroidery."
Other possible Golden Globes 2013 trends include electric and pastel colors, and metallic and bold colors. There will also be a lot of sexier looks on the red carpet. Tune into the awards show tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC.
