The Golden Globe Awards was a place where fashion could be found on Sunday night. Some of the most famous actresses in Hollywood walked the red carpet showing off their finest threads. The elaborate process of putting together a complete look takes time, plus there are all the incidentals to look good like earrings.
On the red carpet this year, the fans got a good look at what is hot. Apparently hoops are out, but teardrop earrings are in. So are diamond studs as several actresses walked the red carpet showing off their cool earrings. From Amy Poehler to Taylor Swift the stars paid close attention to the details.
The trends of the red carpet showcased that the earring styles had to be subtle to avoid taking away from framing the face. Also noted is how the glitz of the stones weren't overbearing. Sometimes too much glittering makes a complete distraction.
While the earrings on the red carpet definitely were some of the best ever seen, there were a few really expensive pairs too. The jewels Kelly Osbourne were had armed guards close by as she shared with viewers watching E! that she had to give them back right after the broadcast.
