Top news coming in to a chilly San Francisco tonight is about the 2014 Golden Globe awards.

The ceremony for the 2014 Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014. The location was the elegant Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The much-anticipated show was seen live on NBC.

Co-hosts for the annual event were Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Says Ontheredcarpet.com: 'Poehler herself also won her first Golden Globe, for her role on the NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation."'

So who actually took home Golden Globe awards in the 2014 show? That would be:
Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto of "Dallas Buyers Club," as well as Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams of "American Hustle."

"All great movies," says San Francisco resident, Katie Adler

The TV shows "Breaking Bad" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" were also honored during the evening.
