The Golden Globes red carpet brought the fashion to the masses. On Sunday night as the stars walked down the fashion runway, the fans were checking out the entire outfit at the Golden Globe Awards. One notable item defined by the female entertainers were the necklaces. Hanging around some of the most famous stars were thousands of dollars worth of golden, diamonds and even pearls.
Amy Poehler was one star who wasn't going to let anyone miss her necklace. The diamond chain worn on the red carpet was elaborate and went down her front to showcase her very revealing top. Adding to the look she also wore a matching pair of diamond stud earrings.
Taking time for every part of the fashion, the entire outfit was revealed to create the perfect ensemble. While some stars choose to keep it simple, with a minimal amount of jewelry, there were plenty celebrities that appreciated a necklace for a looked that popped in front of the cameras. Unless the jewels are private, almost all the jewels seen around the necks of the stars are borrowed.
With jewelers catering to the whims of those famous folks, there were thousands of dollars with of diamonds, gold and other precious stones walking the red carpet. It’s all worthwhile too as the exposure of letting a star borrow a piece of jewelry is worth more than advertising could buy.
