Breaking News: San Francisco is a dating Mecca
The City makes the 'Top Ten Best Cities for Dating' list according to studies by the Daily Beast.
The Daily Beast, using data pertaining to singles over the age of fifteen (yes, 15) combined a mere three factors to determine dating capitals and who is hot and who is not. Presto! DB computed the Top 25 best cities in the United States for dating. Scientific or superfluous? Who cares? San Francisco soared high over San Jose and Salt Lake City. No kidding.

Google Trends was yet another method to measure the popularity of five major dating websites: Match.com, eHarmony.com, okCupid.com, Plentyoffish.com, and Zoosk.com.
Is Plenty of Fish the one popular with singles over the age of 15? Inquiring minds want to know.
Ask Sid the San Francisco cynic about his top ten dates and he starts with his favorite date: 1066 Battle of Hastings. A confirmed bachelor, 50, and tired of the dating game, he doesn't pay attention to polls and sensational studies. His mantra: "The secret to happiness is low expectations."
