Gold's Gym raises money for the American Diabetes Association

On Saturday February 6, 2010, Gold's Gym will be hosting the 4th Annual Spin-a-thon to benefit the American Diabetes Association, at Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, Maryland. A Spin-a-thon is a four hour group exercise indoor cycling event that will be held Center Court in the mall. Pre-registration is recommend since the bikes are limited. This event is open to the general public.  Participants can sign up to ride a stationary bike for one hour or for all four hours. The tax deductible cost is $20.00 per hour or $80.00 for all four hours.

According to the American Diabetes Association website, there are 23.6 million people in the United States, or 7.8% of the population, who have diabetes.  There are also 1.6 million new cases of diabetes that are diagnosed in people aged 20 years and older each year.  100% of the funds raised at this event will be donated to the American Diabetes Association. This is the perfect opportunity for you to come out and support this worthy cause.

Gold's Gym is also looking for partners to donate goods, services, and money. There are four levels of partnership - Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Red and two levels of Individual and Associate level partnership. If you or your business are interested in partnering, please contact Kim Murphy at 410-873-4653.

Come out and support Gold's Gym goal to raise $50,000.00  to benefit the American Diabetes Association. Remember, your support counts, your money counts, and your help will lower the count of people who suffer from diabetes. So let's go make a difference in our own life with fitness and in our community!

Keep Moving!
