Gold Medal mom Kerry Walsh fitness and pregnant

Statuesque and stunning, volleyball Olympic athlete Walsh was pregnant while she was competing and already has two sons. Her third child will be a girl she found out at Christmas. The poster child of pregnancy, is 35 weeks, looks beautiful. Her whole family is getting ready for the new addition to the family. Kerry is keeping fit to stay in shape for Reno.

Working out

It’s important for her self-esteem for her health and for her family. She has been focusing on cardio up until now and now she is slowing down the all the bouncy activity and getting into using resistance bands and weights. It’s importat to keep working your core even though you are pregnant; it can only help you when it comes to delivery no matter what kind of delivery you are having.

Arm exercises with dumbells

Depending on how in shape or out of shape you’ve been in before your pregnancy its important to build some muscle in your arms because after the baby is born they are your most important tools. Building your strength throughout pregnancy will ease the stress and strain on your arms and surrender more energy to your healing and getting your total strength back. When your arms are strong that’s one less thing to wear out and get tired with a new baby in the home. It’s also important not to go over 5-8 pounds, doing more reps is more important than lifting more weight so you don’t cause undue stress or strain or pull anything.
