Going within is more important than going out

There are some people who make it a habit of going out all the time. There is always some place they have to be. These people almost never stay home just to be alone to meditate on the last place they have been.

They attend a conference, but before they can reflect on that conference and put that information into practice, they attend another one. While their bags are still packed, they attend yet another conference.

While it is good to attend conferences, revivals, or attend some events at your local church, God wants us to go within instead of always going out. He wants us sit and know that He is God just as much in our home as He is in a crowded auditorium.

"Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)

God wants us to spend time with Him. He wants one-on-one conversations with us like He had with the Samaritan woman the well and with Nicodemus.

Sometimes "going within" is more important than "going out."
