Dear Daily Word family,
I don’t mind sharing with you that I have been struggling these past few weeks to maintain and keep it all together. I have accepted additional responsibilities; which I received because they are of God. This being said, I struggled to weave in these new assignments; and using the analogy of a juggler: to keep all of my balls up in the air, and spinning in the proper direction and at the correct speed. Needless to say, I dropped a few balls here and there.
I said “okay Father, I know I heard you to accept these new responsibilities, so what gives? Why am I struggling, stressed, and worn out?” Sometimes the Lord doesn’t speak right away, as was in this case. Finally, after struggling and stressing for almost two and one-half weeks, the Lord spoke to me in a series of dreams; of which, I will share with you over the next two weeks.
Sometimes, we think that the reason why we are always feeling tired or not able to get everything done and done well, is because we have taken on too much. And sometimes this is indeed the reason. However, what the Father spoke to me is one of adjustment.
My case was not an issue of taking on too much; but rather an issue of an altitude adjustment. When a jet cruises to a higher altitude, it needs to establish a new flow by catching a new jet stream. Passengers may sometimes experience turbulence when a plane is struggling to find and flow in a new stream of air. So it is with us: as we elevate to higher levels, we cannot flow the same way, or in the same stream that we currently do; or else, the flow that worked for us will act as resistance in this new altitude; thus causing us to become tired, weary, and in disharmony with our current atmosphere.
I am very pleased to announce that, after a year and three months, and almost 400 articles, the Daily Word has found a new flow, as it soars in a new altitude! Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will continue to serve as days of revelation and study on a particular verse, and Saturdays will continue to see a weekend activity; while Tuesdays and Thursdays will provide a fresh wind: a time of dreams, revelations, and utterances. I am very excited about our new positioning as we continue to soar on the mighty wings of the Father!
