Police in Goffstown are asking for the publics help in identifying a man who they say grabbed a girl while she was waiting at her bus stop Wednesday morning on Warren Avenue.
The girl said she was approached by the man and asked if she wanted a ride somewhere. Before she had a chance to do anything the man grabbed her forcefully by her jacket through his car window and tried to drive away. The girl lost her balance as he pulled away and hit her face on the car door before falling on the ground. The man drove away.
The incident took place in the Pinardville area on Warren Avenue near Eden Street at 7:55AM.
School officials sent home a letter to parents of students at Mountain View Middle school informing of the incident and warning them to be cautious of strangers driving in the area. They also warned parents to be watchful of students while they are waiting for the bus in the morning.
The man wanted for questioning is described as white, 30 to 40 years old, with a stubbly bearded face. He had a large scar across his forehead. The man was driving in a smaller, green, four-door sedan.
