A legendary monster inspires Hilton Hawaiian Village's new blockbuster room package

In conjunction with the much-anticipated release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla, Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is giving guests a chance to experience firsthand one of the film’s locations with the launch of its "Godzilla" room package.

The package includes:

•A luxurious ocean front or ocean view room in the Rainbow Tower

•A Rainbow Tower Torte dessert at Tropics Bar & Grill (one per stay)

•Two Godzilla brushed cotton distressed baseball caps (how cool is that?)

•50 percent off the Movie Sites Tour at Kualoa Ranch (unlimited number in party)

•A chance to win fabulous prizes with the Godzilla Scratch and Win Game

Guests booking the package will enjoy the spectacular views from their rooms in the Rainbow Tower, which boasts the newly-restored Rainbow Mural. The two Godzilla baseball caps are the perfect gear for the discounted Movie Sites Tour at Kualoa Ranch. Tour guests experience the famed Kaʻaʻawa Valley, known as the "Backlot of Hawaii", and see where many of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster movies and TV shows are filmed. Stops include film locations for Godzilla, Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, Battleship, Lost, Hawaii Five-0 and more. Riding aboard a vintage school bus you explore the Jurassic Park site, find Godzilla’s footprints, see the Windtalkers battleground and visit many other locations. You might even see shooting in progress.

Godzilla is set to be released in theaters on May 16. The world’s most revered monster is reborn as Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures unleash their epic action adventure from director Gareth Edwards (Monsters). Segments of Godzilla were filmed on Oahu and in front of Hilton’s Rainbow Tower on Waikiki Beach. Hilton Hotels & Resorts has a number of additional consumer promotions planned between now and the release date, including a chance to win a trip to Hawaii with airfare and a five-night stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The Godzilla Package can be booked from now until June 30, 2014 for stays through December 19, 2014. There is a five-night minimum stay and the rates are based on space availability.

As a part of the package, Hilton Grand Vacations is offering guests, 21 years and older, a chance to play the Godzilla Scratch and Win Game. Game pieces will be inserted in guest key packets through June 30. Instant Winner prizes include a return trip to Hawaii, $500 island activity credit, GoPro3+ Hero Camera and Godzilla or Hilton souvenirs. Every game card is a winner with a prize.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures on the launch of this highly anticipated new film,” says Tracy Walker, general manager of Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. “Hilton Hawaiian Village has been an icon in movies and television for decades, starting with Elvis Presley’s Blue Hawaii on up to the current Hawaii Five-0 series. We’re so happy that our resort was selected as a filming location.”
