After trying you're rum balls, I fee comfortable giving this complicated recipe a try. I'm sure it will be worth it regardless.

I made this for Easter for my family. My nephew helped me and he is a good cook too. We followed your directions to a tee with no substitutions! It layered perfectly and we were excited to taste this. When it was served some of the guests brought it back and said it was way too strong and too sweet to eat. We had to throw it out. The Godiva site itself has a better recipe and I will be trying that one instead. I'm sorry it was a bomb!

What is that poop on top of it? That picture alone does not make me even WANT to try and make it

I haven't ever taken the time to review a recipe...but this one was WORTH THE REVIEW!

I read the review about it being too sweet - I couldn't disagree less. This was decadently rich and perfectly chocolatey...very indulgent for any chocolate lover. Not too sweet at all.

I followed the recipe exactly. It took 2 days to make it...I let the chocolate cake and chocolate cheesecake layers cool in the fridge overnight and did the mousse and ganache the next day just to be sure everything sat up and layered perfectly.

This recipe was TO DIE FOR!!! Thanks very much for sharing!

I can't say if it tastes exactly like the Cheesecake Factory's version because I've never had it. A good friend loves CF's chocolate cheesecake, so I wanted to re-create it for her birthday as her present. Whether it tastes just like the original or not - I'm not sure. But I do know this was a perfect b-day present! The layers were perfect, the texture and creaminess was spot on for a cheesecake, and the rich chocolate flavor is exactly what I was going for.

This is not for the faint of heart - if you are a chocloate lover - this is the ultimate indulgence!

Thanks again for the fabulous recipe! I will be making it over and over again for special occasions in the years to come. A definite keeper. And my picky husband loved it too - he's not even a big fan of really rich chocolate desserts. An 11 out of 10!!!!
