'God' receipt waitress fired at Applebee's, who really sinned? (Video)

A woman now known as the "God" receipt waitress was fired from an Applebees restaurant after she posted a photo on Reddit of a bill with an offensive message. A pastor wrote on the check for $34.93 with $6.29 gratuity scribbled out, "I give God 10%, why do you get 18." According to a Jan. 31 follow-up report on Huffington Post, the waitress was let go after sharing with the world that a pastor didn't think he should have paid any kind of tip.

"I posted it to Reddit because I thought other users would find it entertaining," Chelsea said.

Applebee's spokesman, Dan Smith, issued the following statement to the Huffington Post:

"Our Guests’ personal information – including their meal check – is private, and neither Applebee’s nor its franchisees have a right to share this information publicly. We value our Guests’ trust above all else. Our franchisee has apologized to the Guest and has taken disciplinary action with the Team Member for violating their Guest’s right to privacy. This individual is no longer employed by the franchisee."

For whatever reason, the pastor didn't believe the waitress who did her job deserved any type of tip -- not even the 10% tip he gives to God in church contributions.

How do you feel about the Applebee's waitress being fired over posting the photo? It's not
