Fans of the "God of War" series eagerly awaiting the latest "God of War: Ascension" will be able to get a double-dose sneak peek today, Feb. 27, with the release of a single-player demo through the Playstation Network, and a storyline trailer viewable below.
The demo lets fans play through the opening scenes of the forthcoming Playstation 3 exclusive, giving a glimpse of Kratos' powerful new abilities. The story trailer then fills in the story a bit further, giving insight to where "God of War: Ascension" is going with Kratos, and highlighting several series staples: mythological creatures, huge set-piece sequences, and overt sexuality. Get those quick-time reflexes ready.
"God of War: Ascension" will be out March 12, exclusively for the Playstation 3. The prequel to the original "God of War" tells of series protagonist Kratos' journey to become the man we've known throughout the expanded trilogy. The game will ship separately or in bundles including an exclusive garnet-colored Playstation 3.
