Todd Papy, Game director of “God of War: Ascension,” guest posted an announcement today on the official Playstation Blog to inform fans that the “God of War: Ascension” single-player demo is now available for everyone to download on the Playstation Network. The single-player demo was released last week to select gamers who won a social game based upon “God of War,” but now the demo is open for all to download.
The single-player demo allows gamers to use Kratos’ rage to impale, burn, and whirl his way out of the Prison of the Damned. The escape culminates with a titan boss fight with the Spartans new combat system which includes the following techniques.
- Unleash Kratos’ Rage in fiery explosions that burn enemies to ash.
- Impale enemies on chained blades and use them in combat as living wrecking balls.
- Wield the weapons enemies in countless new combos.
- Climb and slide through the chaos as the world turns upside down.
“God of War: Ascension” will release as a Playstation 3 exclusive and allow fans to step into the armor of the famed Spartan once more on March 12.
