The “God of War” franchise is one of Sony's flagship intellectual properties for the PlayStation brand. Following up the release of “God of War 3” on the PlayStation 3, SCE Santa Monica is currently getting ready to release the much-anticipated “God of War: Ascension,” which is shown in the slide-show above. Currently, this title is scheduled to be released on March 12, 2013 exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
As the release of this title is rapidly approaching, today Amazon provided us with what seems to be the final box art for this title. As can be viewed in the slide-show above this article, this box art features Kratos held up by chains strapped to his arms.
