Jason McDonald has provided more commentary in regards to the 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM that will be included in the recently-announced PS4. According to a report by CVG on March 8, the lead combat designer for “God of War: Ascension” believed that the amount of memory would be more than enough for developers around the world. As if any games studio in the world would be saying 'oh no, eight gigabytes of GDDR5 memory is not enough'. I mean, holy s**t, how are going to use all of that?
Jason McDonald and his colleagues at Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica Studio are responsible for the development of “God of War: Ascension.” The sequel was developed using 512 MB of Ram on the Playstation 3 console.
