Many fans of the God of War series were questionable if there was going to be another title added to the series after the epic conclusion to God of War 3. Even if there was a sequel, where would it proceed too? According to the UK gaming magazine PSM3, the next game, God of War 4, could feature both Kratos and his brother, Deimos, in a quest to escape the afterlife. In addition, this could be in form of a multiplayer co-op feature, which will introduce a huge feature to the God of War franchise.
Deimos, who is Kratos’ younger brother, was killed in God of War: Ghost of Sparta as him and Kratos battled Thanatos. In the conclusion of God of War 3, we saw an epic conclusion that could have led to the death of Kratos. In reference with this, it is not hard to see the possibility of the following plot taking place in the upcoming God of War 4.
The following are details from the January 2012 edition of the PSM3 gaming magazine:
“Why is it hot? It’s bringing double kratos to the series. GOW 4 was confirmed to PSM3 mid-2011 by a reliable source, and rumours point to a multiplayer twist. Mad idea? Online co-op with a (possibly) dead Kratos and (very) dead brother Deimos teaming up to escape the afterlife.” Source
