Have you ever noticed that many of your plans in life do not always turn out quite as you expected? Of course you have, this is a fact of life for everyone. But please realize that this is not always a negative thing; in fact it's often very positive! Many unexpected situations bring about the best results. Let's say for example that you didn't get that fancy job you applied for but instead found yourself happier than ever following a completely different route. And maybe it didn't even look that appealing at first but turned out to be great! The main idea here is that we do not always know what is best for us at all times. It may look like the best, feel like the best and sound like the best but God sees through all of that and can guide us down a completely different path for our own benefit.
Now of course we all have plans both big and small and this is a great thing. It's healthy to plan, and work hard but we should never leave God out of the picture. He can see what we fail to see and knows all. We should be ready to change our plans based on his plan. Ask him to guide you day by day and be ready for him to lead you into paths that are best for you as individual.
Life is a journey filled with ups and downs and not everything will be understood; we are human beings with a finite knowledge but God knows all. And we can rest in that knowledge! We can also rest in the knowledge that he is love! And that he loves us with an everlasting love!
And please never under-estimate the power of prayer and faith. These things can move mountains! You may not notice God doing things in your life right away but be rest assured he is very active. You see living a life of faith is a process; we are God's children and he is our loving heavenly father, and it is his pleasure to give us good things. Every good gift comes down from the father above (James 1:17).
God loves you so much and he has great plans for you friends! God bless you all!
