There are times when you may feel the presence of God strongly in your life. During these times, you will find yourself filled with a high degree of hope and faith. When you feel His presence so strongly, it is much easier to lean on Him and trust Him regardless of what your circumstance may be.

There are also times when you may not feel the presence of God in your life. During these times you may feel weak and hopeless. You may feel the enemy telling you that God is a joke and that you are foolish to put any faith at all in Him. The enemy will even try to get you to doubt that God exists at all.

It is important to remember that God is with you always. He is with you when you feel His presence strongly, and He is with you when you do not feel His presence strongly. Very often, when you do not feel His presence, it is because you are not drawing near to Him through prayer, reading scripture, and just walking through life with Him as your main focus throughout the day.

When you make God a part of your conscious thinking throughout the day, your life will change. No problem will be insurmountable. No darkness will be immune to the light of the presence of the Father.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8: 38-39

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” James 4:8
