'God hates Nebraska' Westboro Baptist Church says of tragic plane crash (Video)

The Westboro Baptist Church says “God hates Nebraska,” in response to a deadly plane crash. According to a Jan. 12 World Herald report, four businessmen were killed in the crash on Jan. 11.

The plane took off from North Platte, Neb. and was supposed to go to a York, Neb. The trip should have taken a bit under an hour, but the plane crashed fifteen minutes after taking off.

Mark Bottorff, 54, was the pilot and president of Bottorff Construction, based in Kansas. Ken Babcock, 72, and Jason Drane, 39, both of Ken Babcock Sales, another Kansas company, were onboard the plane. The fourth passenger was Chris Newlson, 53, of Scott-Hourigan Company, which is out of York, Neb.

Those who worked with the men spoke highly of all four victims. That isn’t good enough for the Westboro folks, though. The WBC used their official Twitter account, @WBCSays, to post the news of the Nebraska crash on Jan. 12.

“Praise God! Nebraska hates God,” the Westboro Baptist Church tweeted in response to the tragic plane crash.
