Goalies lead all NLL fantasy scorers through week 3

Surprisingly enough, it is two team goaltenders, Toronto Rock (84 pts) and Philadelphia Wings (68 pts), who are leading all National Lacrosse League fantasy scorers after three weeks of NLL action.

The Philadelphia Wings' Brandon Miller has the best goals against average in the NLL, and Nick Rose of the Toronto Rock leads all goaltenders in saves with 137. If you are looking to add one of these goalies to your fantasy team, it will cost you $19.

Leading all runners in fantasy points is a trio of Washington Stealth players: Rhys Duch (57), Cliff Smith (51), and Bob Snider (50). Duch's 9 goals and Smith's 16 points are leading all NLL players, while Snider's 40 loose balls is tops in the league.

Also, the Stealth (2-1) are one of three NLL teams which have played three games so far this season, so it is no surprise these three players are atop the fantasy leaderboard.

Leading all defensive players are two more players from Washington: Jeff Moleski (27) and Matt Beers (21). To add these players to your fantasy line up it will cost you $7 or $6, respectively.

While taking into account solely fantasy points per game, Minnesota Swarm forward Ryan Benesch would be the best runner, averaging 26 pts/gm. However, his Swarm team has only taken to the floor once this 2013 season.

The Fantasy NLL season is really starting to heat up, so if you have yet to register a team go to fantasy.nll.com to sign up, and ontinue to follow the teams and players of the NLL at nll.com.
