'Go In Peace' - a new documentary about caring for veterans at the end of life

A new documentary about caring for veterans with trauma at end of life is making a debut into the world. GO IN PEACE! tells about what happens when veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder - or “Post-Terror Soul Distress” - face their own mortality through serious illness. This is "a film about understanding the needs of veterans with trauma, and creating possibilities for healing." It is a film for anyone who cares for or about veterans with PTSD.

It features:

The profound work of Deborah Grassman, Nurse Practitioner and author of Peace at Last: Stories of Hope and Healing for Veterans and their Families who has sat bedside with thousands of vets at end of life.

The wisdom of Dr. Ed Tick, author of War and the Soul, Director of Soldier’s Heart Project

The voices and experiences of veterans with PTSD who deserve our compassion and care

There will be a screening of this show at CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY in Portland, Oregon on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at 3 PM. Karen van Vuuren, the executive director of Natural Transitions of Boulder, CO, is the director. It will be offered for FREE, and refreshments will be provided. Donations will be appreciated.
