What: You’re invited to join members of the United Workers, communities across Baltimore alongside family members and friends to celebrate the life achievements of Veronica Dorsey.Look forward to sharing stories, singing songs, eating good food and viewing some great archival footage of Veronica Dorsey.
You should know, Veronica Dorsey was a inspirational & powerful, social activist and community leader for the movement to end poverty in Baltimore; considered a devoted mother and grandmother, and a person of faith.
Did you know? Veronica Dorsey passed away on November 2, 2013.
Who: Open to general public for free. For the memorial event, United Workers members will be preparing a grand meal in Ms. Dorsey's honor. They are requesting attendees to volunteer and/or bring either an appetizer or a dessert for support.
