Happy St. Patrick's Day! There are lots of options today as revelers seek out green drinks and food to celebrate this day. Are you ready for two healthy recipes to satisfy your "green" tooth? Take the challenge and try gluten-free sugar-free green tea cupcakes and a lactose free avocado smoothie.

Skip the classic green beer and other food and drinks that will be loaded with artificial additives such as food colorings and dye. Embrace all that is natural and healthy. Plan to use chilled cocktail glasses or martini glasses and garnish with cherries or lime. Serve guests healthy green cupcakes on a silver platter or on some earthenware. Green represents life.

Avocado Smoothie
An easy, simple avocado smoothie recipe can be prepared in 30 minutes or less:
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups coconut water
1/2 medium Hass avocado, pitted, fresh scooped out
2 Tbs.walnuts
1 1/2 tsp. lime juice
*Place all ingredients into a blender blending for 30 seconds or until smooth. Add organic honey to taste.
