Everyone seems to be upping the ante with their Super Bowl commercials, but for “Go Daddy,” this year’s commercial is on par with everything they’ve done the past. In the newest installment for this year’s Super Bowl, supermodel Bar Refaeli, playing the attractive girlfriend kisses her co-star, (someone playing the role of) an unattractive nerd.
The company’s spokesperson, Danica Patrick gives the company’s tag line, “There’s the sexy side represented by Bar Refaeli,” Patrick says, “and the smart side that creates a killer website for your small business, represented by Walter. Together, they’re perfect.”
Refaeli holds the kiss, which, for the viewer, could be long, awkward or cringe-inducing. After a seemingly long time, it finally ends. That awkward kiss took 45 takes to get it right.
