Hometown carrier Sun Country Airlines has announced a great sale to some of the most popular destinations in the U.S.. Valid for travel through April 8, 2013 and requiring a 10-day advance purchase, in just a few hours you can escape the winter cold to some of the exciting cities in the country. Reservations must be confirmed by the end of the day on Thursday, January 31.

One-way fares with no requirement for round-trip travel include: Seattle, $119; Boston, $129; Washington, D.C. or New York City (JFK), $139; Los Angeles or San Francisco, $164. Sun Country's Boeing 737-700 and -800 flights depart/arrive at Terminal 2/Humphrey at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Fares quoted include all government taxes and fees. Convenient parking is located adjacent to the terminal and is connected via skyway, making for an easy getaway from cold Minnesota winter.

As always, seats are limited and subject to availability. Hop a flight, rent a car or use mass transit into the heart of the city, and the Atlantic or Pacific coast is all yours to explore. And you'll avoid the summer crowds and high hotel rates in these destinations by traveling off-peak season.
