This week and next, two area restaurants will host summer wine dinners, collaborating with a wine partner to take guests through a five-course tasting menu and wine pairings.
The first event will be held this Thursday, June 19, as Chef-Owner Katerina Coumbaros presents a night of Greek street food inspired by her homeland. The event takes place from 6:30 to 8:30pm at Taverna Opa Orlando located in the upper level of Pointe Orlando on International Drive. Seats are available, but limited, so please RSVP to EatGreek@opaorlando.com or call 407-351-8660. Dinner and wine is $45 (tax and gratuity not included).
Christner’s Prime Steak and Lobster hosts the second installment of its Cutting Board Series, serving a five-course dinner and wine pairings. Butch Hoth of Republic National Distributing Company will highlight Banfi and ZD wines as the evening’s speaker. Limited seating is available for this event, please RSVP to Christners@Rockawaypr.com. Event takes place Friday, June 27, at 7pm and costs $115 per person (tax and gratuity included).
