Last night was the first round of the first ever NFL draft held on primetime television. GMC, General Motors “Professional Grade” brand of trucks, vans and SUV’s was the official sponsor of the NFL Draft and with millions of people tuning in, GMC was well represented.
Ford Motor Company is doing very well lately so perhaps the Ford family will spend some of that revenue on the downtrodden Detroit Lions.
(In case you didn’t know – the Ford family owns the Detroit Lions)
The Lions had two picks during last night’s first round, taking Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (pronounced en-DUH-muh-kong sue) with the second overall pick and with the 30th pick the Lions grabbed California running back Jahvid Best.
The entire order of the 2010 NFL Draft 1st round is available below.
Tonight is the second night of GMC presenting the 2010 NFL Draft and you can catch it on ESPN or the NFL Network.
