'GMA Super Tailgate Party' kicks off Super Bowl weekend

The morning news team at ABC Television Network will take to the field with the "Good Morning America" program on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, according to a Jan. 30, 2013, press release from ABC Television Network. "GMA's Super Tailgate Party kicks off Super Bowl XLVI weekend.

Josh Elliott and Sam Champion report live from New Orleans for an action-packed morning and preview of the big game. The live show will include appearances by country music star Tim McGraw, football star Drew Brees and celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. Avid sports fan Sherri Shepherd ("The View") joins the party.

Tim McGraw, country music superstar and Louisiana native, will perform multiple songs from his highly-anticipated album, "Two Lanes of Freedom," live from the legendary House of Blues.

New Orleans Saints super-star quarterback Drew Brees stops by local hot-spot Jax Brewery.

Famed chef and New Orleans native Emeril Lagasse whips up some creative recipes for the ultimate Super Bowl party. Viewers can pick up tips from Emeril to be used to impress their friends with at their own Super Bowl party.

On Monday morning, the day after the big game, Josh Elliott will be live from The Big Easy reporting on the game's highlights. Some of the Super Bowl's big winners will appear to talk about the game.
