Where has “GMA”s Robin Roberts been lately? That has been the question that fans had been asking recently since the morning host was gone from her seat for a few days. She has since posted photos of herself at a hot vacation spot and not only that, but she told People on Aug. 28 that she will back to work full time the day after Labor Day.
The 52-year-old anchor has been waiting for this moment ever since she had her bone marrow transplant last year. The most important thing was getting her health in order and now she must have received the green light from her doctors to be able to get back to work on a five-day work schedule.
Viewers of the morning show had been concerned for Roberts as she was visibly absent for a while. She then posted a photo on her Twitter account of herself relaxing on a boat on the waters of Maui where she had a fun time with a group of close friends that had helped her through her health crisis. She looked quite healthy and happy in the photo, which gave everyone a sigh of relief.
The first anniversary of her ‘rebirth’ is on Sept. 20 and that will definitely be a celebration for her and everyone that loves her. The morning host said that she feels 90% of herself now and is looking forward to being back with her “GMA” family full time.
It is great to see Robin Roberts back on her feet and it will be a happy time to have her in the old seat next to George Stephanopoulos once again.
