“Good Morning America” co-host Robin Roberts made the new when she shared her cancer battle with fans. Today she is in the headlines again but not because of her health. Reports on Dec. 29 from New York Daily News share Robin Roberts has come out as a gay woman in a Facebook post.
In an early New Year’s Eve message, Roberts shared her hope for a happy and healthy 2014. Her Facebook post reads: "I am grateful for my entire family, my longtime girlfriend, Amber, and friends as we prepare to celebrate a glorious new year together.”
She continues: "I am grateful for the many prayers and well wishes for my recovery. I return every one of them to you 100 fold. On this last Sunday of 2013 I encourage you to reflect on what you are grateful for too."
