What is becoming a great turnaround for GM, this mornings announcement of delivery numbers has been well received. Today GM announced that vehicle delivery numbers for 2010 are up 12.2 percent from 2009, and that China and the United States top two million in sales each.

"GM achieved double-digit increases in five of its top 10 markets, including a 28.8 percent increase in China, where GM and its partners2 were the first to top the 2 million sales mark in a single year, and an increase of 41.3 percent in Uzbekistan, which is now GM’s tenth-largest market by volume." - GM.com

Despite the phase out of four brands, GM's delivery numbers in the USA rose 6.3 percent despite the sour economic outlook. Could this be the turn around that GM has been waiting for?
