Gluten free, low-fat, Allergen aware, diabetic and more! (Video)

A happy 2013 to everyone and here is hoping your New Year is off to a great start! I'll be seeing you on CBS TV with the Chefs from the Presidential Culinary Museum and Presidential Service Center on January 18th for our Inauguration Special featuring some American classics!

Now then, I recently received a wonderful letter from Meghan Welker over at Babysitting.net offering help with recipes from gluten free (check out the video from my friend Monica on gluten free also) to so many other medical needs. Considering all the babysitting that I have done in my life as a Manny - and babysitting my own two year old daughter I love to get letters like these. Our many clients in private estates and homes, as well as our specialty Chefs will really appreciate these ideas also. We have trained so many Cooks and Chefs (closing in on 1200 graduates soon!) and often scratch our memory trying to come up with new ideas for special, medical needs in eating - especially for little friends and toddlers.

"We at Babysitting.net recently came across your column and were excited to share with you an article “30 Blogs for Quick and Easy School Night Meals” which was recently published on our site at (http://www.babysitting.net/blog/30-blogs-for-quick-and-easy-school-night-meals/), and we hoped that you would be interested in featuring or mentioning it in one of your posts. Either way, I hope you continue putting out great content through your blog. It has been a sincere pleasure to read."

Meghan and the crew have a helpful site for caretakers, nanny's, manny's, moms and dad's and more! The site opens up with, "The often frantic pace of weeknights during the school year can leave parents scrambling for a healthy, tasty dinner that will please the whole family and does not require hours in the kitchen. Thanks to the Internet and the worldwide community of food bloggers, it’s easier than ever to get ideas for quick, easy meals to please both kids and adults. These 30 dinners can be made in a snap and are sure to leave everyone asking for seconds."

The good part is they have terrific and helpful solutions for specialty dinners, especially those little ones that are already challenged with medical needs. The following is taken directly from their site and has helpful hot links so be sure to check it out!
