Glory Gospel Singers give gospel flavor to popular Studio Ghibli themes

What do anime and gospel music have in common?

Easy! The answer: Tenshi Ni Anime Song Wo

The Glory Gospel Singers have released their first anime music album entitled "Tenshi Ni Anime Song Wo" (Anime Songs for the Angels). The album consists of 12 Japanese songs that are featured in world-renowned Studio Ghibli anime films such as "Ponyo," "Castle in the Sky," "Spirited Away," and several others. Although the group is from New York, the singers have managed to sing the entire album in Japanese. The album released in stores in Japan on November 2, 2011.
